Utami van't Merelsnest is a colt by the popular stallion Leandro VG. Himself descending from an outstanding family, Leandro performs consistently with Jeroen De Winter. Dam Artemis jumped on the international circuit herself with Björn Van Bunder and she already gave the 1.45m performing Domina of Frederic David. 2nd dam Idjaz-C by Hedjaz is the mother ofcountless succesful horses. The most known is of course the great Sapphire of McLain Ward, but there's also Quarco of Robin Sweely, and Wendelina of Björn van Bunder. In 2 generations of her offspring you find no less then 16 horses performing at 1.45m and higher.
